Description

Warm, comforting, and bursting with apple and cinnamon flavors, this baked oatmeal is a perfect start to your day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 medium apples, diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an oven-safe baking dish lightly with nonstick spray or butter.
  2. Dice the apples into bite-sized pieces for even baking.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well mixed.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and half of the diced apples.
  5. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients in the large mixing bowl. Stir until combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish. Top with remaining apple pieces and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set.
  7. Enjoy warm, drizzled with additional maple syrup if desired.
