- 2 cups potatoes, peeled and diced

- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out one sheet of puff pastry into a pie dish.
- Boil the diced potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 10-12 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Combine mashed potatoes with the meat mixture; stir in thyme, sage, cloves, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust and cover with another sheet of puff pastry.
- Cut slits in the top crust for steam to escape and brush with an egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
