Description

Flourless pumpkin brownies are a decadent dessert that perfectly blends rich chocolate with warm pumpkin spices, creating a cozy treat for any fall gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (canned or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (almond or peanut butter)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, nut butter, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, mix together cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Combine Everything: Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until well combined; the batter should be thick yet pourable.
  5. Pour & Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out evenly. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean but moist.
  6. Cool & Serve: Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares. Optionally drizzle with melted chocolate or sprinkle with chopped nuts before serving.
