- 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs

- 1 large egg
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the meatballs for about 20 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
- Remove the meatballs from the oven and generously pour marinara sauce over them. Top each meatball with slices of fresh mozzarella.
- Return to the oven under the broiler for about 3-5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Serve hot with extra marinara sauce drizzled over top.
