Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- 3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- 4. Beat in the egg and stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.
- 5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter-sugar mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- 6. Fold in the mini M&Ms evenly throughout the dough.
- 7. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet about two inches apart.
- 8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown but centers remain soft. Allow cooling slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
