Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time to the butter mixture along with vanilla extract; blend until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture into the wet ingredients while alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
  6. Spoon batter into prepared muffin tins about two-thirds full. Bake for about 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center. Allow to cool completely before frosting.
  7. In a medium bowl, beat together softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
