Indulge in the exquisite flavors of Salmon Wellington, where flaky pastry envelops tender salmon and a creamy filling, creating an unforgettable dining experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh salmon fillet
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package (17.3 oz) puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped spinach, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well integrated.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out puff pastry sheets until about half an inch thick.
  4. Place the salmon fillet in the center of the rolled-out pastry. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the salmon.
  5. Carefully fold over the pastry to completely encase the salmon.
  6. Beat the egg with a splash of water and brush it generously over the top of your wrapped salmon.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
