- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well mixed.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until fully blended.
- Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients. Stir until everything is evenly combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until set and slightly crispy on top.
- Allow to cool slightly before cutting into squares. Serve warm with an extra drizzle of maple syrup or fresh fruit if desired.
