Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round baking pan with nonstick spray or butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually add milk until fully incorporated.
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture over the batter.
- Dollop the remaining batter over the swirl layer and spread gently. Top with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
