  • 1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 12 ounces cheese-filled tortellini
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  2. Season steak bites with salt and pepper, then sear them in the skillet until browned on all sides (about 3 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well while scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add tortellini directly to the sauce and cook according to package instructions until al dente (approximately 3-5 minutes).
  6. Add cooked steak bites back into the skillet along with freshly grated parmesan cheese. Stir to combine until everything is coated in the sauce.
