Instructions

- In a bowl, whisk together the flour and sugar until combined. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat together the eggs, melted butter, milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients while stirring gently until just combined; lumps are okay!
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
