Description

Pavlova with Winter Fruits is a light, airy dessert topped with luscious whipped cream and vibrant seasonal fruits—perfect for cozy gatherings and festive celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (or superfine sugar)
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional)
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 cups assorted winter fruits (such as pomegranates, kiwi, and citrus slices)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper and draw an 8-inch circle on it.
  2. In a clean mixing bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, until stiff peaks hold their shape.
  3. Gently fold in the white vinegar and cornstarch (if using) to stabilize the meringue.
  4. Spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking tray within the drawn circle, creating a well in the center.
  5. Bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Turn off the oven and leave the meringue inside until fully cooled.
  6. Once cooled, carefully remove from parchment paper. Top generously with whipped cream and arrange winter fruits before serving immediately.
